Daily I eat 2-3 cups of dark leafy greens (kale/arugula/swiss chard/cilantro/parsley/collards, etc.), 2-3 cups of sulphur rich (cabbages/onions/brussel sprouts/brocolli/califlower,etc), 2-3 cups of brightly colored veggies or fruits, healthy fats (avocado, coconut oil, ghee, olive oil (but only eat olive oil at room temp and NEVER heat, it loses all of its good omega properties with heating- I cook with fats that have a higher smoke point like coconut oil or ghee), nuts and other proteins. I eat little to no grain, as I have learned this is not a good fuel for my body. This combination as described by Terry Wahls, MD nourishes the mitochondria at the highest level and aids the body through food in detoxification. Plus DELICIOUS! No added cane sugar- which often creates a lot of inflammation in the body, especially inflaming nerve cells. Bon appetit!!
